A 1-year-old and a 5-month-old

G turned 1 on 5/26. I hoped that maybe by some miracle that day would mean she would be more calm and not so mouthy... Well, still hoping. Maybe one day. Anyway, here are some photos of her.

And here are some photos of our Little Miss who has grown up so fast we can't believe it! (Ok, so maybe just I can't believe it. Kyle's response to that is, "Well what did you expect?" Haha.) So here is our 5-month-old little baby who changes every week- no, every DAY! - and what she's up to now.

-She smiles the biggest, sweetest, melt-your-heart smile when she wakes up and we go to get her.
-She still loves to look at herself in the mirror.
-She talks up a storm. Boy do I wish I could know what grand stories she is telling us.
-She giggles so hard when we tickle her. It makes me laugh out loud, which in turn makes her laugh more. And the cycle continues.
-She is sitting up on her own now. She can't get herself up yet though, so when she reaches for a toy while sitting and falls over, aka face plants into the toy or ground, she just rolls onto her back and smiles up at me.
-She rolls immediately onto her back when we put her on her tummy. Hopefully this doesn't deter her from crawling.
-She rolls onto her tummy from her back but only when she is reaching for something or sometimes when she is sleeping.
-She can pick things up really well now and transfer it from one hand to the other.
-She puts everything in her mouth. Her favorite thing to chew on, though, is her own hand. She is teething hard core.
-She will pick up her pacifier and put it in her mouth. Although, she's not always successful with putting the right end in her mouth. But she has discovered the hard plastic is fun to chomp on.
-She likes to help hold her bottle when she's eating. She can almost hold it up on her own.
-She is starting to actually enjoy bath time.
-She loves the dog. She laughs when she sees her and smiles at her. She likes it when G licks her hands...the only one in our family that actually likes that. And even though I try to get G to stop, Eva sticks her hands out for more. She loves to pet G. We think they'll be good friends as Eva gets older.
-She scoots around a lot on her back. I try to put her towards the bottom of her crib because I know she'll need the room. When we go to get her, she almost always has her head up against the headboard.
-She loves to read books. Well, I know she likes to look at the pictures. But she really just likes to turn the pages.
-She loves to see other babies and little kids. She smiles so big and giggles when she looks at kids. She especially gets excited when she sees her friend Rell. She talks up a storm when she sees him.

We just love this little girl!
